At the heart of Lamoura and Les Rousses

Our hotel is the perfect starting point for your activities

With its craggy mountains dotted by streams and waterfalls, its forests, its lakes and its glorious landscapes, the Haut-Jura provides an ideal setting for action, with the park’s main visitor centre being located in Lajoux, 5 minutes from the hotel. Hiking is the top activity in Les Rousses and the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park, and makes for unforgettable days out. In summer, you can explore this magnificent territory anyway you like - by foot, by bike, by horse, by donkey or with a dog. For a spot of variation amid these natural surroundings, there are many activities you can do, either alone or with professionals - fishing, climbing, via ferrata, canyoning. Or for something more elevated, have fun with the family at the Parcabout in Lamoura (with treetop trampolines), or dive into the world of the Commando Games at the Fort des Rousses, the second biggest fortress in France (just 15 km from our hotel).

At the heart of Les Rousses, there are two 18-hole golf courses with excellent grounds - the Golf du Mont Saint-Jean and the Golf du Mont Saint-Jean - which fit in perfectly with the curves of the mountainous plateau and are dotted with lovely streams and several obstacles. The fairways cross wooded patches of birch and fir trees typical to the Haut-Jura.

In summer, the Jura mountains are also synonymous with swimming and other nautical activities. The resort features two lakes nestled among mountains, valleys and forests. The Lac des Rousses with its clear water is ideal for swimming or simply admiring the surrounding landscapes. Its aquatics centre offers such activities as windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, pedaloing for 2 or 4 people and paddle boarding.
Located next to the hotel, the Lac de Lamoura with its beaches is nestled amid a green setting and is the highest lake in the Jura Mountains. Play areas for children and a picnic area have been built by the lake, and you can naturally also go swimming here.
